This area describes how Construction and Facilities Requests (CFR) and Major Work Orders are developed, tracked and approved within Baskin School of Engineering Facilities Group.

Basic Outline

Below is a flow chart of how CFRs should be developed and routed. The main objective is to ensure funding is in place and appropriate BSOE management personnel have concurred and approved. This objective needs to be met to ensure proper allocation of resources and to ensure work done is done within BSOE, UCSC and UC policies and guidelines.

A routing sheet has been developed to ensure signoffs. A copy of this routing sheet is below. Personnel should copy or print this route sheet to yellow paper and attach to the document being routed.
